Who we are
Pics2Pics (pics2pics.com), also available in Turkish as Resimden Resim (resimdenresim.com), creates mosaics made of thousands of small pictures and AI-generated scenes from the photo you upload. Both domains are the same service, operated by the same company. This page explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Data we collect
- Account details: your name and email address, and which domain the account was opened on. We never see your password in plain text; only an irreversible hash is stored. If you sign in with Google, the name and email Google shares.
- Photos you upload: used only to create the picture you asked for. For mosaics they are deleted when the job ends; for scenes they are kept for 24 hours so you can use the free "Redraw", then deleted. Created pictures (mosaics and scenes) are deleted after 24 hours.
- Pictures you unlock without the watermark: pictures whose watermark-free version you unlock with credits are kept in your account for 30 days so you can download them again; after that they are deleted automatically.
- Live camera and liveness check: scenes are made only with your own face, from your live camera. Your camera image is analysed in your browser with face landmarks (MediaPipe); only three frames (straight, turned left and turned right) reach our server, which verifies there is exactly one face, the head turned both ways and it is the same person. The turned frames are used only for this check and are never written to disk; the straight frame becomes the photo for the scene and is deleted after 24 hours.
- Face detection: for scenes, the position and estimated age of the face are computed on our server at that moment to prevent misuse (restrictions under 20), and face similarity for the liveness check; this information is not stored.
- Credit and payment records: your balance, purchases and spending, and the amount and status of your orders.
- Technical data: the cookie that keeps you signed in, your IP address to prevent abuse (daily limits), and error logs.
How we use data
- To create the pictures you ask for and to recognise your account.
- To manage your credit balance, your watermark-free pictures and your purchases.
- To send sign-up verification, password reset and account security emails.
- To improve the site and prevent abuse.
We don't sell your data or give it to third parties for advertising.
Third-party services
Pictures are created by software and AI models running on our own servers; your photo only travels between our own servers for this. Emails are sent through Cloudflare. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you buy credits, Paddle processes your purchase details (such as your name, email address, billing country and payment information) as an independent controller under its own privacy policy (paddle.com/legal/privacy); your card details never reach us. We receive from Paddle only what is needed to add the credits to your account (order number, amount, email). If you choose Google sign-in, Google's authentication service is used.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a preference cookie for your language. Sessions on pics2pics.com and resimdenresim.com are separate.
Advertising
To keep the site free, we show Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Your uploaded photos and generated images are never shared with advertising partners. You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ad Settings and read how Google uses data here.
Retention and deletion
Your account and credit records are kept while your account is open. Photos are deleted when the job ends (for scenes after 24 hours), created pictures after 24 hours, and unlocked watermark-free pictures after 30 days. To have your account and all your data deleted, simply write to the address below; we complete requests within 30 days.
Age limit
Opening an account and making payments is for users aged 18 and over.
